Dustin’s journey with Sand Creek Station Golf Course is a testament to his dedication and passion for the sport. Joining our team in 2009 as a member of the cart staff, Dustin quickly made his mark with his exceptional work ethic and deep commitment to enhancing the golf experience for our guests.
Over the years, his roles have evolved from the cart staff to positions in sales and marketing, where he honed his skills in promoting the course and building lasting relationships with our clientele. His innovative approach and strategic vision helped drive the growth and success of our marketing efforts.
In 2024, Dustin’s years of experience and proven leadership earned him the role of General Manager. In this capacity, he continues to drive excellence and maintain the high standards that Sand Creek Station is known for. His leadership style is characterized by a collaborative spirit and an unwavering commitment to both the staff and the golfers who make Sand Creek Station their course of choice.

Sales and Marketing Director
Tristan Webb – Bio
Since joining Sand Creek Station Golf Course in 2015, Tristan has been a vital part of our team, demonstrating remarkable growth and commitment. Starting his journey with us in the cart staff, Tristan quickly distinguished himself with his enthusiasm and exceptional service, setting the stage for a successful career within our organization.
Tristan’s dedication and skill propelled him through various roles, ultimately leading him to his current position as Sales and Marketing Director. In this role, he expertly crafts and executes strategies to elevate our course’s visibility and engagement. His innovative approach and keen insights have been instrumental in enhancing our marketing efforts and connecting with our community of golf enthusiasts. In addition to his marketing responsibilities, Tristan also oversees our Men’s League.
Tristan is not only advancing his career at Sand Creek Station but is also pursuing a Master’s degree in Digital-Integrated Marketing and Communications from the University of Kansas. This pursuit reflects his commitment to staying at the forefront of industry trends and bringing cutting-edge strategies to our team.
Superintendent
James Houchen – Bio
James has been an integral part of Sand Creek Station Golf Course since its inception, serving as our dedicated Superintendent. With his extensive experience and unwavering commitment, James has played a pivotal role in shaping and maintaining the exceptional quality of our course from day one.
Before joining Sand Creek Station, James served as a Superintendent at a golf course in Kansas City, where he gained a wealth of knowledge and expertise in course management. His background in golf course maintenance is complemented by his academic credentials, holding a degree in Golf Course Management from Kansas State University.
James’s deep understanding of turf management and his passion for delivering a top-notch golfing experience ensure that Sand Creek Station remains in pristine condition, providing an outstanding environment for our golfers. His meticulous attention to detail and dedication to excellence make him a cornerstone of our team, and we are proud to have his expertise steering the stewardship of our course.
Tournament Director
Maddy Hart – Bio
Maddy joined the Sand Creek Station Golf Course team in 2024, bringing with her a fresh perspective and a strong passion for golf. Before coming on board with us, Maddy gained valuable experience working at a previous golf course, where she developed a solid foundation in course operations.
A former collegiate golfer, Maddy played at Friends University, where she honed her skills both on and off the course. Her experience as a student-athlete not only refined her technical abilities but also instilled in her a deep appreciation for the game and a commitment to fostering a positive and engaging environment for all players.
Controller
Laurie Kimerer – Bio
Since 2013, Laurie has been a cornerstone of Sand Creek Station Golf Course, expertly managing the financial and operational aspects of our facility as Controller. Her role is crucial in ensuring that each department runs smoothly and efficiently, and her extensive knowledge of every position within the course enhances her ability to oversee daily operations seamlessly.
Laurie’s proficiency in financial management and her keen organizational skills have made her an invaluable asset to our team. Her background in accounting and administration is complemented by a unique perspective, thanks to her Master’s degree in Theology and Education from Newman University. This diverse educational background contributes to her holistic approach to problem-solving and team management.
Laurie’s dedication and expertise ensure that our operations are both fiscally sound and operationally efficient, allowing us to focus on providing the best experience for our golfers. Her commitment to excellence and her well-rounded skill set make her an essential part of our success at Sand Creek Station.
